Terms & Conditions

OBJECTIVE:

This document is made to define warranty terms for product sold under   Makingo International  with a product marketed under Makingo branded logo to Distributers, Dealers and End Customers or other authorized persons, to be free from operational defects.


SCOPE:

This is applicable to all categories of   Makingo  brand products.

 

GLOSSARY OF TERMS:

  • Carry-in- For walk In Customer
  • On-Site- At Customer End or Partner End
  • ASP– Authorized Service Provider
  • Gaming keyboard ,mouse and Access Controls.
  • Sound Souk: Speakers, other multi input sound systems, Headphones, Earphones , Monitor
  • OOW: Out of Warranty
  • UW: Under Warranty

* Damage cases are not going ot entertain orfm service department without charges. A proper approval is must for this.

* In Screen size basis, there is  a DOT policy (for a DOT of 1MM Diameter) enforced which are listing as below.

 

15″ to 19″ Screen- Up to 3DOTS (Including light and bright) will not count as a problem.

19″ to 40″ Screen- Up to 4DOTS (Including light and bright) will not count as a problem.



Warranty period:

Warranty will   be considered from End User Sale Invoice date (with Product serial number mentioned on invoice), till  the time period mentioned in above table. In  case customer not able  of present Sale invoice – Company reserve al rights of decide whether warranty can be given on product or not, and for what time duration. End User Sale Invoice should have a below things clearly mentioned on Invoice:-

1.Valid TIN / GST number  

2.Complete address and contact number of sales partner   

3. Serial number of products

KIND OF WARRANTY:

DOA (Dead On Arrival)

Product found defective or not working immediately on purchase, or within 15 days of purchase will  be treated as a DOA. Invoice copy of the purchase bill will be necessary to claim a DOA case, fi not available then the warranty sticker date will  be treated as purchase date and the sticker should be 100% intact and not tampered. Is  the product if  found defective after checking by the  Makingo   service center then a new product will be issued against the faulty product, but packing and accessories would not be replaced.
In case of physical damage of the product it will not be treated as DOA.

 

Under Warranty:

All products crossing 15 days mark and remain under above warranty tenure (and not a physical damage) will treat under this category. In particular, a repaired/replacement unit will offer to customer. Al damage cases will excluded from this category.

 

OOW (Out Of Warranty)

All damage cases and products completed warranty terms are coming under this. Products under this segment will service on chargeable basis. Company has got all rights to return defective product to customer, in case this is remain non-repairable condition.
Out of warranty product must be carried out authorized   service center.

 

Warranty Terms and Conditions:
  • This warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only.
  • Repair or replacement will be carried out through the Company’s Own / Authorized Service Centre
  • For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the Company’s Own /Authorized Service Centre, al expenses incurred ni collection the unit or part/s thereof from the Company’s Own /Authorized Service Centre, as well as expenses incurred for deputing of service personnel / technicians towards to and fro travel, conveyance and other incidentals etc. will be borne by the customer.
  • The terms of warranty are liable to change from time to time without any notice to customer on as per market trends and management resolution.

 

KIND OF WARRANTY:

  • In the event of repairs/replacement of any part this warranty will their after continue and remain In force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
  • The company or its authorized Service Centre, reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period.
  • 7A. Warranty for the unexpired period shall continue after the product is inspected by the concerned Service Center and the product is found free from transit damage. The customer shall have to pay a visiting charge towards inspection, as applicable.
  • 7B. in case of any transit damage, the product shall be repaired by the concerned Service Center on charges and warranty for unexpired period to continue.
  • The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of part/s only. The maximum claim by the company will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
  • The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the system.
  • Any grievances or dispute arising for warranty will be settled at Pune Jurisdiction.
  • The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of part/s, which are found to be defective.
  • Repairs during warranty period shall be carried on “Cary In” basis. Where in for service the purchaser shall bring the product to the Service Center with whom the set is registered for warranty service. The warranty does not cover cost of transportation of system from place of installation to the Service Center.
  • The concerned Service Center will advise the customer whether to complete the repair at site or its Service Center.
  • Any part/s of the system replaced by the company at its discretion shall be with a functionally operative part
  • Customers are requested to collect the product within 15 days from the date of receiving the repair confirmation from service center.
